An appeal to the Court of Justice of the European Union ?
According to our information, the senator of the fatherland of Peugeot should present Tuesday, July 9 before the European Affairs Committee of the Senate of the conclusions reaffirming the hostility of the upper assembly to the compulsory technical control for two and three-wheelers.
The Senate even threatens, if the text is maintained as it stands, to lodge an appeal with the Court of Justice of the European Union for "failure to respect the principle of subsidiarity". Clearly: the States (or what remains of it, Editor’s note) can very well resolve the question of technical control at their level, without the EU having to put its nose to it … To be continued on MNC: stay connected !
