Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo approach the eighth MotoGP 2019 race in first and 15th position in the championship. What are their goals this weekend in Assen? Pre-race declarations.
Marc Marquez (Honda official n ° 93), 1st in the championship (140 points)
"Assen is a circuit where you have to be very precise and where it’s difficult to be consistent. The most important thing is to be good at changing direction quickly. I can’t wait to go back because we have already had some great brawls giving the fans a great show. I’m sure we’ll have a great race on Sunday. The weather is looking good so I think we’re going to have a good weekend ".

Jorge Lorenzo (official Honda n ° 99), 15th in the championship (19 points)
"We come to Assen after having spent our most consistent weekend of the year in Barcelona. The end result was not what we wanted, but the whole weekend we were able to be competitive. We kept going. to improve the bike and that’s what I want to do again this weekend. If we continue to work like this with the Repsol Honda team, we can have the same speed as in Barcelona ".
