Carried away by a fervor on special series, MV-Agusta presents yet another variation of a model. The Brutale 800 RR, after experiencing Pirelli and America affiliations, now receives the attentions of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. After the F4 and the Dragster, this is the third MV branded with the acronym LH44, with the set of features intended to enhance its shimmer.
Red, very deep, seriously precious. The Brutale thus copies the finery of the F4 1000 RC LH 44, one of the most sumptuous hypersport in Varese. The lava scents coexist with touches of black, carbon, and the milky frame enclosing the fiery 3-cylinder 140 horsepower.
Made in only 144 copies, the model will be authenticated by a certificate and a number inscribed on the carbon screen.
To justify the exclusive side of this special edition and the price that goes with it, the Brutale LH44 exhibits high-end materials and parts. Like an exclusive ceramic coating for the exhaust system, a two-tone and two-material saddle (leather and alcantara), and a whole set of machined parts: control lever – crankcase protection – jar cover – gas cap oil filling – quick-opening tank hatch.
Marked with fever and blood, this Brutale reminds the English pilot of acquaintance with multiple reminders. Its symbol is affixed to the tank and sewn on the passenger seat. Its name is on the rear sidewalls, its lucky number on the radiator scoops and even on the sidewalls of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires..
Unchanged at the technical level, the Italian roadster can count on the most demonstrative power, a protruding chassis and omnipresent electronics (shifter, 4 driving modes, traction control, ABS). MV-Agusta announces as a bonus a weight gain of 3 kilos, which sits the 800 Brutale RR LH44 at 172 kilos.
Despite its pedigree, reputation, and the charismatic name that goes with it, this machine can hardly justify its indecent price. More than 24,000 euros, an increase of almost 55% compared to the standard Brutale 800 RR. Figures worthy of F1…
