The new Corsican Reparto livery of the MV-Agusta contrasts radically with the predecessor. Goodbye to the freshness of Italy, the sweetness of the aromatics and that aplomb of a passionate diva frolicking in the paddocks. Now, the RC declination presents the colors of a volcano, this fiery red peat and ash expelled during the eruption.. A decoration just as full-bodied as the previous one with a sportiness extradited differently.

Recently, the TC 800 RC strengthens its dynamic approval with a very particular clutch. Note the right crankcase, remarkably highlighted. Because it accommodates the recent SCS system – Smart VSlutch System – capable of automatically managing the disengagement and engagement phases – forget about the left lever, and let the SCS manage everything. Additional driving comfort for a motorcycle with a bloody temperament.

When MV-Agusta chose to affix the stamp of its racing department, the Reparto Corse, on a production motorcycle, it was originally on the F4 1000 RC, a demonic sports car dedicated to the homologation of the Superbike championship. This puts you on level. For some time now, the decoration and the RC name have been investing in a less exclusive machine, allowing you to join the house to the circuit via all kinds of roads and passes. Here is the role of this limited series 800 Turismo Veloce RC.

She is superb ; simply. Already in standard version, the trail-GT by Schiranna is a pure stylistic success. In this RC opus, the decoration adds the spiciness inseparable from the Italian sporting expression. The two-tone red and black upholstery highlights the august aspect of the whole. Always in evidence, the big 37s recall the past glory of the brand.

In addition to its decoration modeled on that of the machines engaged in WSSBK and WSP, the Turismo Veloce RC is equipped with specific forged aluminum rims, a partially carbon mudguard, crankcase protection, a small numbered plate on the handlebars and a black coating for the footrest plates as well as the silencer cover. Alas, no SC Project exhaust, as can be seen on the Brutale or F3 of the RC series.

The Turismo Veloce is one of the few trail-GTs to be powered by an 800 cc. The norm in the segment is more at 1200. But beware, not just any mill. The Italian 3-cylinder is a mixture of ardor and character. It now benefits from some mechanical improvements to increase reliability. Together, the MVICS 2.0 engine management is further improved for greater fluidity and efficiency. In addition to 110 horsepower and 8.6 mkg of torque, the Turismo Veloce provides 4 maps as standard, 8-level traction control, up & down shifter, anti-wheeling and ABS. The chassis is renewed in its prerogatives: structure mixing a steel trellis frame with aluminum plates, heavy Brembo braking with 4-piston radial calipers on 320 mm discs, and Sachs suspensions which adapt the damping in real time.

The MV-Agusta TV 800 RC SCS borrows a maximum of equipment from the Lusso version. Enough to go far and without asking any questions. In addition to the standard luggage, given the colors of the Reparto Corse, the machine has a 12V socket to connect accessories, a central stand, a Garmin GPS, heated grips, Skyhook semi-active suspension and cruise control. Note that the suitcases can carry 30 liters of cargo each.

Alongside the F4 1000 RC, F3 675/800 RC, Brutale RC and Dragster RC, the Reparto Corse family continues to grow. MV-Agusta intends to offer each category of its machines in this special livery. But this kind of delicacies at a double price: on the one hand, there will not be something for everyone because it will only be manufactured in 250 copies; and on the other hand, the price is clearly seasoned.
