Founded in 2009 in Levallois-Perret (92), the Tendance Roadster store no longer plays solely on the neo-retro string of the Royal Enfield, Mash and Metisse to attract customers: it adds to its arc the Italian electric motorcycle brand Energica !

Based at 98 rue Baudin in Levallois-Perret in the Hauts-de-Seine, Tendance Roadster Levallois is riding the vintage wave that has considerably boosted the motorcycle market in recent years, mainly thanks to the BMW R nineT, Ducati Scrambler and Triumph T120, but also at the Royal Enfield and Mash that this Parisian "concept store" distributes.

On the lookout for new trends – hence its name! -, the distributor has just added a panel to its storefront: Energica, the Italian brand that Site meets every year on the occasion of "its" international trade fair…

It was during the Eicma 2012 trade fair that Site discovered the, in the form of an enticing concept. But this first Italian electric sports motorcycle will indeed be offered for sale to French bikers … or Ile-de-France at least !

"Tendance Roadster is proud to become the first representative of the Energica electric motorcycle brand today and to participate in their dissemination," its managers tell friends. "These new kind of motorcycles are a relevant response to the need for green urban mobility and also herald a new style of motorcycle fun".

Two models are in the catalog for the moment: the sporty Energica Ego therefore, whose electric motor of 100 kw (136 hp) and 195 Nm allows to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and to climb to 240 km / h (on the track of course) in "Sport" driving mode … or to travel 200 km in "Eco" mode.

The chassis seems just as solid: steel trellis frame 43 mm Marzocchi inverted fork and Bitubo rear shock absorber, Brembo brake calipers, Diablo Rosso II tires … The Italian certainly does not deny its origins !

There is hardly that the ABS system – of Bosch origin – and the very angular lines – "Koupees, Trenches, Machettees" with the billhook? – which do not evoke either the "Dolce Vita" or the "Pazzione" … We note in passing that the manufacturer proposes to equip the beautiful beast with "spoked or forged aluminum rims, an Ohlins fork or ‘a Carbon Kit ". Guaranteed for 3 years or 50,000 km, the battery must be able to provide 1,200 cycles at 80% of its capacity and be charged to 100% in 3h30, or even to 85% in just 30 minutes thanks to the rapid charging system.
