With its saddle placed just 650 mm from the ground and its placid 745 cc twin-cylinder developing 45.55 hp and 65 Nm of torque (respectively 1.8 hp and 3 Nm more than on the VT750S), Honda’s first novelty 2012 should not pose any problem of handling … like all Shadow !

On the other hand, its general line gains in charisma thanks to wheels of 17 inches at the front and 15 inches at the rear and a wider rear tire (160 mm against 150). Its uniformly black color (unique color) and its 41 mm fork covered with covers also contributes to making it more desirable – more "American", some would say -, just like its now flat and raised handlebars as well as its instrumentation moved on the tank.

Like the VT750S, the new Shadow VT750C2B retains a double-cradle-type steel frame and a 296 mm single-disc at the front, but it advantageously trades its chain transmission for a cardan shaft. A detail that undoubtedly weighed heavily on its selling price: available from September in, the VT750C2B Shadow is displayed at € 8,690, or € 2,100 more than the VT750S…
