A Site reader imagines the lines of the MV Agusta F3 !
Passionate about motorbikes and drawing, Pierre Sisahaye mixed his two passions to give us his vision of the long-awaited MV Agusta F3. An enticing projection that triggers fantasies about this three-cylinder sports car announced for the fall…
At 27, Pierre Sisahaye is a loyal Site reader: when he is not surfing the internet and riding on the handlebars of his Ducati Monster 696, he is passionate about motorcycle design and in particular the Italian school, an indisputable reference in the material for many bikers !
Currently young-employed in the public service, Pierre has a solid stroke of his pencil and an imagination to match: two qualities that the young man has put to good use to sketch the lines of the future MV Agusta F3. Surprised during dynamic tests at the end of 2009, this sports car, a priori driven by a three-cylinder 675 cc (yes, like a certain Triumph …) is thus announced for autumn 2010 by the Italian manufacturer.
"We are obviously not in a position to reveal all the details of the F3 project, but this new mid-capacity sports car is indeed a reality.", confirms to Site Claudio Rizzotto, communications manager at MV Agusta."The engine is completely finished, its performance and reliability have been validated by numerous tests and we should be able to present this F3 at the Milan Motor Show 2010", he tells us without revealing additional technical or aesthetic information.
But exclusively for Site readers – who, as everyone knows, are a little more fortunate than others! – Pierre Sisahaye gave us his interpretation of the future Italian bombshell: produced on Photoshop – the software used by magazines to "beautify" stars, models and other political figures … -, this project asked "about twenty hours of work"to our budding designer, who dreams of joining the style office of a two-wheeler manufacturer…
After a long study of the MV Agusta style, our talented reader then set about laying down the outline of his "baby" on a paper sketch, before scanning everything to be able to rework the shapes and lights on Photoshop..
"My idea was to make a motorcycle more compact than the F4, while respecting the house style.", confides to us the author of this very successful photomontage which does not content itself with quickly assembling parts and fairing elements from other motorcycles:"except the Brembo front caliper, the whole bike was made by me", continues Pierre.
Available in red and blue, this F3 "Made in Pierre Sisahaye" is indeed inspired by the new F4 1000 R (read our), but the front part is less "flattened" than that displayed by the Italian Hypersport, while the back appears much more tapered.
Cured in every detail, it naturally exhibits the traditional tubular chassis dear to the brand, an aesthetic banana-type swingarm, an inverted "maousse" fork, petal brake discs and an exhaust outlet cleverly hidden in the bottom. fairing.
Of course, this brilliant artistic exercise belongs to the domain of the hypothetical and the final version of the line of the F3 could turn out to be very different. Nevertheless, with its hyper-compact size and sleek features, the work that we are presenting to you today arises in a credible vision of the model that the manufacturer of Varese is preparing to launch on the sports market..
With such inspired plastic, a three-cylinder capable of spitting between 130 and 140 hp and a sufficiently low price to overshadow the Triumph Daytona 675 (€ 10,600) and certain Japanese references such as the Yamaha R6 (12 € 299) or the Honda CBR600RR (€ 11,990), this eagerly awaited MV Agusta would have some great assets to sow discord in the Supersport category…
To be continued … Stay connected! In the meantime, if Pierre Sisahaye’s skills have convinced you, do not hesitate to share your encouragement with him who will pass on !
