New Kawasaki ZZR1400 2012: first info
The new Kawasaki ZZR1400 2012 has been "completely revised" and shares "only a minimum of common parts with its illustrious predecessor", assures the manufacturer of Akashi who intends to "raise the bar ever higher".
In particular, it should offer more torque at all speeds and "beat the planetary acceleration record for production motorcycles" while offering more power (in the free world) at medium and high speeds. Ele benefits from a new, narrower aluminum monocoque frame and a revised swingarm to "manage the power gain".
As for driving aids, the new 2012 ZZR1400 is equipped with the KTRC traction control system (Kawasaki Traction Control, inaugurated on the 1400GTR), a torque limiter, three mapping modes and two power modes: Full Power (full power) and Low Power (around 75% of full power) … which will certainly be very useful in the free world !
