In the maxi-scooter segment, the Gilera GP 800 is an extreme machine with its 76 hp twin-cylinder! After the Gilera Nexus 125 and 300 – which largely inspired the recent Aprilia SR Max 125 and 300 -, it is therefore the turn of to come in the colors of the Noale crest.

On the other hand, the Aprilia assumes its "Maxi" side a little more boldly via its name "850", while the Piaggio block (also used on the) cube 839.3 cc !

If it will be necessary to wait for the Milan Motor Show (November 8) to know all its technical characteristics, the Aprilia SRV 850 may already be exposed to the same criticisms as the: a limited storage volume and a transmission final per chain, but also a rather substantial weight and price (235 kg dry and 8,999 € currently for the Gilera).
