Triumph begins the celebration of its 110th anniversary by unveiling a Bonneville T100 "110th Anniversary Special". Available in only 1000 copies worldwide (80 for France), this limited edition is dressed in an elegant dress "Brooklands Green" and " Aluminum Silver ", like the first Triumph to be established on the circuit in 1908 and pre-war motorcycles.
This "110th Anniversary" Bonnie also features black dyed front and rear fenders, as well as a chrome passenger handle, chain cover and cylinder head cover..
It has a unique Triumph logo, inspired by that of the very first "Tromph" built in 1902 (see in particular the video below).
"The addition of three dots above the original logo design represents the three places Triumph has produced motorcycles in these 110 years, Coventry, Meriden and Hinckley," says the British manufacturer..
Available from May 2012 at a price of € 9,990, this Bonneville T100 "110th Anniversary Special" limited series can also be recognized by its numbered plate and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
For fans of the brand and its history, Triumph also offers a very interesting video retrospective (see below).
This film looks back at the highlights of the English brand, from the very first motorcycle designed in 1902 to the formidable Daytona 675, through the rebirth of the brand in 1990 under the leadership of John Bloor.
Fans will also recognize Steve McQueen and Marlon Brando, two American motorcycle enthusiast actors who helped develop the Triumph legend. More than a century of "so British" passion to be enjoyed without moderation with these beautiful images !
