Norton only builds 50 copies of Dominator Street

The British motorcycle manufacturer Norton has announced the special model Dominator Street. Only 50 copies are to be built by hand.

The British motorcycle manufacturer makes its customers happy with a short Facebook post. Apparently, numerous Norton fans had expressed the desire for a special Dominator. Now the manufacturer has answered this plea and one NOTOrton Dominator Street announced. However, only 50 copies of the special model, which is to be handcrafted, will be produced. And because Norton saves a Euro 5 homologation for this, these 50 copies are only offered in Great Britain.

Many noble attachments

In terms of motor, the special model relies on the well-known 961 cm³ in-line twin with 80 hp and 90 Nm torque. But he can breathe out through a newly formed 2-in-1 stainless steel exhaust system. We the intake side, the air filter, which is now hidden behind a carbon cover, has been modified. The front fender and rear wheel cover are also made from carbon fiber laminate. There is also a hand-operated aluminum tank and a corresponding one-man hump with a Union Jack. The package is rounded off by a new tubular handlebar, numerous polished attachments and a small carbon flyscreen above the round headlight. Dominator Street uses high-quality Ohlins components for the spring elements – a conventional or USD fork can be installed at the forehead.

Norton is now accepting orders for the Dominator Street special model. Of the purchase price of 21,950 pounds (around 24,240 euros), however, 2,000 pounds (around 2,200 euros) must be paid down. Production has already started and the special models will be delivered from September 2019.
