Paris-Dunkirk experienced from the inside in a Suzuki DL 650 V-Strom

On the handlebars of his faithful Suzuki DL 650 V-Strom, our collaborator Marcos Poidebard tells us about his Paris-Dunkirk: three days of mud, paths, landscapes and encounters that will remain etched in his memory forever…. Story, photos and video.

End of the adventure: an unforgettable experience !

The end of the adventure is almost here and we feel this impression of rainy Sundays in winter, when we are bored before the start of the school year … A last dinner is organized with the SMPS Dunkirk Motoclub, then everyone leaves in the direction of of his city.

We spent three days of dreaming, sharing, challenges and learning in a good mood. One small downside to note: the route provided does not enter the personal GPS (TomTom Rider in my case): it is not precise (it directs towards paved roads) and to have the real route of paths to take, it was necessary to refer to the Trippy rented 30 euros per day by the organization.

During these three days the Paris-Dunkirk offered us a piloting course, another in mechanics, bivouac and tourism. And above all sharing, very good restaurants and great encounters !

Honestly, an unforgettable experience and for me to be repeated! Maybe in Auvergne (another region that seems magnificent and that I don’t know!) In September 2015…
