Rieju launches Nuuk electric motorcycles at the Paris Motor Show

The Spanish manufacturer Rieju in turn is plugging into electric mobility with a new range of small battery-powered motorcycles called Nuuk. These 2019 novelties are to be discovered at Porte de Versailles at the Paris Motor Show.

"This range of mopeds and electric motorcycles is ideal for the city (Urban line) or for the road (Tracker line)", explains Rieju who also offers a "Cargo" line intended for professionals. A developing route for short-distance deliveries, particularly in town.

The Spanish brand has turned to a Bosch electric motor, placed in a central position and which offers two power levels: 4 kW (about 5 hp) and 10.5 kW (about 14.5 hp). Power is supplied by four 50 A batteries.

Nuuk electric motorcycles (yes, like the capital of Greenland!) Are camped on 17 inch wheels and their weight must be between 115 and 130 kg. Note the presence of an inverted fork and radial brake calipers, rather sporty in terms of positioning! Their battery recharge time is "about 5 hours" but could be reduced to "just one hour" with the optional "QuickMode" charger..

Their price starts at 5,999 euros, specifies Rieju, stressing that the Nuuk is "an expected vehicle in the electric mobility market".
