The handbrake lever can break

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha is recalling its 2019 model year MT-03 and R3 300 models. There were irregularities in the manufacture of the handbrake lever.

Because it is used in the manufacture of the handbrake levers for the models Yamaha R3 and MT-03 from the 2019 model year has irregularities, Yamaha will call the corresponding vehicles back to the workshops for inspection. Under certain circumstances, the handbrake lever could break.

The recall affects models from the VIN ranges MH3RH12D000002001 to MH3RH12D000002315 and MH3RH125000010041 to MH3RH125000010640.

All owners of the affected vehicles are asked to contact their authorized dealer as soon as possible to arrange a workshop appointment. The handbrake lever is then checked there and replaced if necessary.
