"Angry motorcyclists are happy!", Said the French Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) the day after the National Road Safety Council (CNSR) which notably announced the suspension of the compulsory wearing of retro-reflective equipment on motorcycles and breathalyzer mandatory in all vehicles (read).

"The CNSR is initiating the return of a road policy that the FFMC hopes to be oriented in the right direction", judges the association for the defense of bikers which is delighted at "the putting in the closet of these two measures which symbolized the gadgetisation of the stakes of road safety for political communication purposes ".

The change is now ?

Welcoming "the will of the Minister of the Interior to put an end to these practices", the FFMC therefore announces its return as a permanent member within the CNSR, which it had left with a bang eight years ago by denouncing a "tool for promoting government policy on road safety" which had "lost all critical eye and serves as a guarantee for a road safety policy based exclusively on repression" (read).
