On the way to the Euro Women’s Cup

In line with the Dream Cup unfortunately canceled for lack of female combatants, the European Motorcycling Union is organizing the first European Speed ​​Trophy reserved for girls this year: the Euro Women’s Cup..

European constitution or not, the Europe of motorcycles is on the move ! After the abandonment of the Dream Cup (), the first European Speed ​​Trophy reserved for girls will be inaugurated this year under the aegis of the European Motorcycling Union (UEM). The event will have three rounds:

• Vallelunga (Italy) on May 14 and 15, 2005
• Riejka (Croatia) June 18-19, 2005
• Schleiz (Germany) on August 19 and 21

Two categories are allowed for roadster or sports type motorcycles. They will run together in the same event, but will benefit from separate classifications: "600" (four cylinders up to 600 cc and twin cylinders up to 750 cc) and "1000" (four cylinders over 600 cc and twin cylinders over 750 cc) ). The regulations concerning both categories are those of the European Superstock class 2005 (600 cc and 1000 cc) published by UEM.

To participate, you just need to have your national license, the UEM license (a minimum license called "promotion" may suffice), the authorization to leave the territory of your own national federation … and of course be a woman !
