The luggage rack can break

Honda has to recall 32,000 Z125 Monkey vehicles to the workshops worldwide. There may be a problem with the luggage rack.

B.All Honda Monkey models that are equipped with the luggage rack from the original accessories program are affected by the recall. It doesn’t seem to be able to cope with the stated maximum load of three kilograms and can break under certain circumstances. Transported luggage can fall on the road and endanger other road users.

Honda has to check around 32,000 Monkeys worldwide, in Germany 1,510 have to be returned to the workshops. The affected vehicles are from the production period between March 2018 and September 2019. Honda writes to all Monkey owners and asks to visit the workshop. The recall runs under the code 3L2.
