  • Best agility and driving pleasure-oriented handling: With new contours and a state-of-the-art rayon radial carcass on the rear tire, the new ROADTEC ™ 01 SE SPORTS EDITION combines the proven touring suitability of the ROADTEC ™ 01 with a full plus in sportiness and thus offers a very wide range of applications, both for sporty drivers as well as for comfort-oriented touring fans. At the same time, this ensures consistent performance over the entire service life of the tire.
  • High grip even at maximum lean angles: The sporty plus of the new tire is also based on a further development of the proven ROADTEC ™ 01 tread design. So the new one owns “SE” now designated “Slick areas” in the tire shoulder. These ensure significantly larger contact surfaces in an inclined position and offer a high degree of grip for a sporty driving style.
  • Best safety even on wet roads and sporty grip in dry conditions: thanks to the full silica compound on the front tires and the bi-compound compound on the rear tires, the new one scores “SE” with the same high level of grip in wet conditions and a very wide range of uses as the ROADTEC ™ 01. As an introduction, METZELER is giving away 33 sets of the new ROADTEC ™ 01 SE and, with a little luck, offer you the opportunity to become one of ten ROADTEC ™ 01 SE test drivers! All you have to do is register on the campaign page and briefly describe why you want to take part in the campaign.

33 winners will be drawn from all registrations and a jury from METZELER and 1000PS will then select 10 test drivers who will be able to report on their experiences with the ROADTEC ™ 01 SE in a 4-week test phase for METZELER and 1000PS.

The campaign runs from 01.07. until July 31, 2020 and the winners will be announced on August 5, 2020 at 8 p.m. in the 1000PS livestream on Youtube.
