Fortunately, motorcycle clothing is also constantly evolving. In the area of women’s protective clothing in particular, we have long since gone beyond potato sack-like fits, waisted cuts, feminine looks – and above all the color fuchsia – have long dominated. So much so that it can sometimes be difficult as a lady to escape these bright pink accents.
Fit knows how to please
So it’s all the more beautiful that Spidi uses a slightly more subtle purple-pink for the women’s version of the G-Carbon, which is certified as protective clothing, which stands out pleasantly from the brightly colored hustle and bustle and is still clearly feminine. Alternatively, the glove is also available with neon yellow accents or in black and white.
In practice, it pleases with its slim women’s cut, but the fit always remains supple thanks to generous stretch elements. The G-Carbon Lady offers reliable safety thanks to goatskin up to 0.8 mm thick, synthetic leather trim for additional abrasion protection and the ankle protector made of carbon. A pull loop helps you put it on, the rubber coating on the palm ensures a good grip – but also makes the glove a bit sweaty in this area. Elsewhere, however, it is properly ventilated.
Noticed positively: Smooth fit, good security
Noticed negatively: Palm sweaty at high temperatures
Sizes: XS to XL
Price: 79.90 euros
MOTORCYCLE Rating: 4 stars out of a possible 5
Conclusion
The Spidi G-Carbon Lady women’s motorcycle gloves made a good impression in the first test. Especially the smooth fit and the good safety features were able to score points. At high temperatures, however, it can get very warm. Prices start at 79.90 euros.
