In the world of custom, large displacement remains a factor of choice and nobility. No more power, because it is the torque and its powerful, present, pulsating breath that we are looking for. The Thunderbird 1600 already has plenty to talk about with its big parallel twin; This 1700 limited series raises the tone. Much like the Harley-Davidson CVOs, this limited-edition Thunderbird is distinguished by high-quality hand-sewn paintwork and increased displacement. The gradations and the impression of depth of the Phantom Red Haze and Phantom colors
Blue Haze are striking. The maousse cubage allows the big English custom to release 12 more horses, or 95, and 13 additional Nm. With 159 Nm in the pinion, there is nothing to do without, so let’s be generous. This increase in displacement is achieved through new pistons, liners, camshafts and clutch spring.

There will only be 100 copies of this 1700 Thunderbird; 70 in red version and 30 in blue. This limited series is, moreover, a specificity of France. Triumph France lobbied Hinckley to homologate this version – These 100 T-Bird 1700s will be the only ones available here. To be consumed from April 2010 for a “adapted” price.
