Triumph 900 TROPHY 2000

Menus

Let’s not skimp on words: the 2nd generation Triumph Trophy is one of the most beautiful GT around. More than the Triumph leg, it reveals all the English charm that can be found on big names like Aston Martin or Jaguar. You can taste it in 2 ways: 1200 cm3 with a 4 legs or 900 with an intoxicating 3 cylinder engine. With the exception of the mechanics, these are strictly 2 identical motorcycles. We find the same luxurious equipment, excellent comfort and protection as well as very good road handling. It’s not really the price difference that will tip the scales. Only the aptitudes and behavior of the English engines will guide the choice. Displacement requires, the 900 cannot offer the breath of its big brother. Admittedly pleasant and valiant, this is unfortunately not enough to fill the power deficit and the lack of trunk of this 3-cylinder – it is just to take such an imposing motorcycle. But the lower weight of this little Trophy makes it a more fun and easier bike as soon as the road twists a little. Especially since agility is among the most convincing in this road niche. If you are considering long motorway journeys with passenger and luggage, opt for the 1200 and its more generous muscle.
