Triumph presents the TFC version of the Bobber at EICMA. It comes with lots of classy add-on parts, 10 hp more power and an edition of 750 pieces at a price of 18,450 euros.

M.ith the new Bobber TFC, Triumph presents the third motorcycle in the exclusive Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) model range. Like the Thruxton TFC and the Rocket 3 TFC, the Bobber TFC is limited to 750 copies. It will be available from April 2020 at prices starting at 18,450 euros.

More power and less weight

But all the details of the special series are already known. In the Bobber TFC, a performance-enhanced 1,200 twin-cylinder works, which increases by 10 hp and 4 Nm to 87 hp and 110 Nm. In addition, the crankshaft drive, the servo clutch and the balance shafts have been made easier. In addition, lighter engine covers, thinner-walled manifolds including Arrow rear silencers with carbon end caps and a new alternator are used. The engine package is rounded off by a maximum speed increased by 500 tours. The twin can now turn up to 7,500 rpm and the driver can control three driving modes (Rain, Road and Sport), which also control the ABS and traction control.

The Bobber TFC relies on the finest Ohlins goods for the spring elements. A fully adjustable USD fork works at the front and an equally fully adjustable spring strut at the rear. Brembo M50 four-piston calipers, floating discs and a radial master brake cylinder with an adjustable hand lever provide a braking bite. The coupling counterpart can also be adjusted.

Many noble attachments

The lighting in the Bobber TFC was completely converted to LED technology. The LED headlights come with daytime running lights, the multifunctional rear indicators integrate the rear light functions. High-tech also in the instrument cluster, which has a special TFC dial and a digital display. The handlebar controls are responsible for menu control.

Carbon fiber side cover and carbon fiber mudguard holder at the front, handlebar stubs, knurled handlebar grips, elegant aluminum triple clamps, an adjustable leather solo seat, black anodized spoked wheels and a special paint with a silver-foil “Union Jack” motif on the tank sides and lots of gold-colored accents – the Triumph Bobber TFC has many eye-catchers to offer.

Every Bobber TFC buyer also receives a special, individual TFC handover package. The package also contains a numbered letter hand-signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor, a personalized book about the construction of the vehicle, a Bobber TFC bike cover, a TFC document folder and a TFC leather backpack.
