For the Bonneville’s 60th birthday, Triumph presented the two limited special models T120 Diamond Edition and T120 Ace at EICMA. Now the versions are on sale.

The Diamond Edition of the Triumph B.onneville T120 is limited to 900 pieces. It rolls on with numerous chrome parts and a bench with white piping. With her look she makes for the 1950s and 60s – in keeping with the 60th anniversary of Bonneville. The tank is painted in "Snowdonia White", while the Union Jack on it shines in aluminum silver. The Bonneville T120 Diamond logo flashes on the side covers, the 4-bar tank emblem is chrome-plated, as is the engine cover, the badges and the chain guard.

Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace

There will be 1,400 copies of the Ace special model. The darker of the two Bonneville T120s was modeled on the machines that bikers used to meet at the Ace Cafe in the 1960s to drive illegal races on North Circular Road in west London. This is also the reason for the motto on the tank: "Head down, Hold on".

The Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace comes in Matt Storm Gray with contrasting stripes and the Ace logo. The Bonneville T120 Ace logo can be found on the side panels with the Ace Cafe logo emblazoned on the front fender. The 4-bar tank emblem is black, as is the cover, the engine cover and the seat. The rear fender comes from the "Removal Kit" from the Triumph accessories program and is nice and short, the small LED indicators come in bullet style.

Traction control, heated grips, USB charging socket

Both special models are available including a numbered certificate of authenticity, signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. The Ace also has the signature of Mark Wilsmore, Managing Director of the Ace Cafe.

The engine is well known: the 1,200 cm³, liquid-cooled parallel twin with 80 hp at 6,550 rpm already has its maximum torque of 105 Nm ready from 3,100 rpm. The 270 degree ignition interval ensures a good sound. The engine is modern but looks retro. Triumph has also taken the trouble to hide the collector with catalytic converter under the engine, so that the attention can be devoted unhindered and undivided to the exhaust line of the 2-in-2 system.

On board the two models are ABS, traction control, two driving modes (Road and Rain), smooth clutch, daytime running lights, LED rear lights, heated grips with three heating levels, USB charging socket and a cockpit with two round instruments, which in addition to speed and engine speed, for example, also Inform the gear engaged, trip, range and fuel consumption.

The Triumph Bonneville Diamond Edition will be available from May 2019 from 12,750 euros plus 450 euros for ancillary costs. The T120 Ace costs from 12,950 euros plus 450 euros for ancillary costs.
