In the Triumph cruiser range, the America is the first Englishman of the revival to have adopted a very American look. Since then, the Rocket III and the Thunderbird have broadened the horizon. Insensitive to the diplomatic V-Twin, the America (like the Speedmaster and the Thunderbird) entrusts its dynamic performance to a parallel-twin. Here, we find as on the previous generation the 865 cm3 and its 61 horses. Same engine and same weight…. Driving should only change with the new profile of the front rim.
