The Ducati Scrambler Custom Rumble is taking place for the second time, in which customizers compete with their converted scramblers. The finalists for 2018 have now been selected from the bikes. We introduce you to a selection of the participants.

You is the S.Ducati crambler not individual enough? Then we have some modifications in this article that you will not find on the road. This is made possible by a customizing competition called Custom Rumble, which was launched by Ducati and is only being held for the second time. Ducati has defined four categories for the contest, from each of which a conversion was selected for the grand finale. Ducati received a total of 132 entries. The finalists have now been determined by voting, which ended on March 20, 2018. A total of around 200,000 votes should have been cast.

Winner bikes from Poland and Thailand

The following four categories were chosen: "Best Ducati Official Dealer", "Best Independent Customizer", "Best Scrambler Customer" and "Rookie Rumble". The category is a specialty "Rookie Rumble" where the maximum age limit for customizers was 35 years and only the Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 could be selected as the model.

Winners of the four categories:

  • Best dealer conversion (Best Ducati Official Dealer): ESG Rumble 400 by Sylwester from Poland (Ducati Poland)
  • Best customizer conversion (Best Independent Customizer): The Batass by Piotr from Poland
  • Best customer conversion: (Best Scrambler Customer): Black Ant by Sumalpan from Thailand
  • Best rookie conversion (Rookie Rumble): Aree from Tanapol from Thailand

The final winner will be determined at World Ducati Week 2018, which will take place in Misano from July 20-22. The jury consists of designers, customizers and motorcyclists. The winner can look forward to a trip to Kalofornia. All bikes submitted are available on the competition website at https://scramblerducati.com/v1/en/custom-rumble.

Besides Ducati, Harley-Davidson also has its own custom bike competition, in which the finalists have also already been determined.
