The first statements

Jeremy Barnoin, winner : "Everything went well. Just a tiny drop of nothing, fortunately. But we couldn’t do better. And with the sun on top of that! I was in the lead throughout the race and I was in the lead. assured, I got scared on a special but Benoît (Nimis) also fell. Otherwise, it would have been much hotter until the end. There, I was able to ensure. The stages were great, going slippery very fast. And the bike was good for everything, it’s a real Swiss army knife that you can use for the ride, the slippery and the fast. My next goal? Just the rally of the Ain and it’s everything. I will not be at the Moto Tour Series France, but next year, I will be there ".

Jerôme Putin, 2nd : "What fun! Specials except the last one, which was really slippery, where I secured my 2nd place. Beautiful landscapes, really nice competitors with whom we had a blast this week. A great experience and I’m happy for Central Team and Thierry Boyer to bring back this 2nd place. I already knew Tataouine and Chenini, but I had not done it on a motorcycle, it was magnificent ".

Tarek Azabou, 3rd : "Let me specify that I am not a police officer. I export seafood and shellfish. But I have been riding motorcycles since I was little, even if there is no circuit in Tunisia. I finish on the podium and I am very happy about it. However, I have no rally experience and I ride a BMW S 100 RR equipped with bracelets, which is not really a rally bike ".

Sonia Barbot, 6th overall and 1st female : "I took this rally as a dilettante, but I had a great time riding this BMW F 700 GS, a bike that I’m discovering. The stages were super nice, I didn’t fall, there were a few crashes and a little waiting, but Tunisia is a country that I love and I am very happy to have come. I had already come three years ago and here and the Moto Tour here is a bit summer camp".

Franck Couderc, 7th overall and 1st veteran : "I took part in four Moto Tour and I was three times veteran French champion and once French Top Sport champion. I loved this Moto Tour Series Tunisia, it’s a formula that suits me well, with hotels every evening, a good motorcycle ride and very diverse stages, very interesting and with a tourist side in a sporting event ".
