To discover Touring in Victory, the access is called Cross Roads. The first impression is a feeling of comparison with the famous liner of the immediate competitor: the Harley Road King; but it also hunts on Heritage and Deluxe lands according to its variations (Classic, Delux,….). Except that HD remains frozen in its classicism. Victory has developed an identity with a distinct visual edge, projecting the custom style into the 21st century..
From GT, she has all the genetics. Take a Vision, screw it up, add some leather cases, and you’ve got the Cross Road. Its chassis based on an aluminum section and inverted fork brings road handling well above the traditions of the category. The twin, advantageously cubed and pleasant to look at, mixes style and modernity. In the purest American tradition, it is a V-twin cooled by air and oil. Within it, modernism has infiltrated: 45 mm injection, 4 valves per cylinder, self-adjusting chain and hydraulic valve lifters.
If we had to summarize the Cross Roads in a few figures, here is a range: 1731 cm3 from which 92 horsepower and 140 nm come out, 66 liters of luggage, 22 of gasoline, and a small check for 20,000 euros. In absolute terms, it hits, and yet, it is a very competitive price in the category. The mechanics are efficient although lacking in character, the handling of a good level and the invitation to travel stylish as well as engaging. Since 2012, ABS is standard on the Cross Roads.
