Victory hunts on Harley’s land, and also knows how to offer each model in multiple versions. Among these, the Cross Road Classic L.E. mixes touring and vintage, as does a certain Harley Softail Heritage Classic. The commonalities are numerous as well as glaring: spoked rims, large windshield, leather saddlebags, studded saddle, and huge V-twin. But when the Milwaukee machine seems to belong to the Route 66 myth, the Victory dawdles in its modern style. The machine is more tapered, with taut curves. She looks like a 20-year-old girl dressed in the old fashioned way; its competitor seems to have 50.
Modern and vintage, the Classic knows how to play on charm. There are many winks. The standard Cross Road is fitted with spoke rims, the latter with chrome spoked rims. Also in the radius of chrome, we find, in addition to various parts, a hubcap on each fender. The saddle and the saddlebags (65.8 liters capacity) are adorned with white stitching. The engine, much more modern in design but less rough than the HD, delivers 92 horsepower from the top of its 1731 cc. ABS, styling, and two-tone colourways are standard.
This Victory Cross Road Classic LE is only available in one color and in a limited edition. A small engraved plaque is affixed to prove it. Then the road is open to you.
