Soaked throughout this second day of testing, Miller’s track required a good dose of "self-control" from the WSBK pilots: several of them ended up in the mud! Carlos Checa made no mistake, stealing pole position from Jakub Smrz after the checkered flag had just been released! The Ducati Effenbert Liberty team was already preparing to slash the champagne, but it was their comrades from Team Althea who finally took charge, for the fourth time this season. !

Behind these two 1098Rs are the two R1s of Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty. The Yamaha riders, respectively 2nd and 5th in the provisional classification, once again animated the qualifying sessions and should do the same during the two rounds of tomorrow….

Less than a second from Checa’s time, Troy Corser set the 6th fastest time in Superpole 3 and thus places his S1000RR on 6th place on the grid, ahead of the world champion’s RSV4 and the BMW n ° 86 d ‘Ayrton Badovini, the Superstock 1000 champion who strikes a big blow again.

After Superpole 2, Noriyuki Haga leads the third row on the handlebars of his private Aprilia. Tom Sykes, at the forefront during the free and qualifying sessions this Sunday underwater, takes 10th place at the helm of his official Kawasaki.
