24 Heures Motos - Tour of the Bugatti circuit with an on-board camera -

Less than two months before the 30th 24 Hours Moto du Mans, while the private and official teams are perfecting their preparation, Site takes you aboard the Normand’urance Suzuki GSX-R for a complete tour of the Bugatti circuit with an on-board camera..

A tour of the Bugatti circuit of the 24 Hours Moto of Le Mans with an on-board camera, as if you were there, on the handlebars of the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 of the Normand’urance team led by Cedric Louvel? This is what the Site offers you today with the friendly participation of the team during its last tests on the Le Mans track !

Created five years ago, the Normand’urance team is one of those human adventures which brighten up and enrich the world of motorcycles: "Normand’urance is above all five years of perseverance", explains to Site Catherine Trechaud, the team manager:"the chic of our adventure is that we are three women at the controls to ride three men on the handlebars of a GSX-R which never reaches the end of its limits … She walks with the fire of God, this motorbike !"

"When we started the team, we didn’t expect to achieve such honorable results very quickly", recognizes this tireless passionate 37 years old, married and mother of a child.

And yet: since its creation in 2002, the Normand’urance team has lined up perfectly honorable places with great regularity: 13th stock and 30th overall at the 2003 and 2004 24H Moto du Mans, 15th stock and 28th overall at the Bol d’Or 2004, 9th stock and 23rd overall at Le Mans 2005, 9th stock and 24th overall at Bol 2005, and finally 5th stock and 16th overall at 24H Moto du Mans last year (read) then 8th stock and 23rd overall at Bol d’Or (read ). Without forgetting a participation in 2003 in the 24 Hours of Liège and one in 2006 in the 6 Hours of Zolder.

Simplicity, perseverance and passion…

"The structure is built over the years and still requires a lot of work and investment", continues Catherine:"the team is well established, our stand is growing more and more, the bike and its riders improve as the races progress … What unites us, I think, is simplicity, perseverance and passion".
