ups and downs
IDM Superbike 1000 rider Felix Bauer experienced at the 3rd. IDM weekend 2017 on the natural race track of the Schleizer Dreieck a weekend with ups and downs.

(Press release) After Felix had improved from training to training, he went into qualifying on Saturday with a good feeling. In the first qualifying he was able to find a good rhythm immediately and clearly undercut his time on Friday.
In the second qualifying, Felix was unfortunately unable to improve his time because he did not have a free lap with the soft tire; he only landed on P20.
In the first race, the high temperatures and the long wait on the grid resulted in the problem that the motorcycle overheated. Felix therefore had to stop the race.
In the second race, the Honda Team Moto Bauer had the temperature problems under control, and Felix was able to finish the race in 18th place.
Like every year, the races on the Schleizer Dreieck were unique, even if they didn’t quite go according to plan for the Moto Bauer team.
From August 11th to 13th, it’s off to Assen in the Netherlands for the 4th IDM weekend 2017 – with the fixed goal of scoring the first points this year.
