Those who like sporty-cut helmets but don’t want to do without the comfort of a flip-up helmet could take a closer look at the new headgear from the IXS portfolio. A subtle tear-off edge at the back of the head completes the slim, sporty overall shape of the IXS 460. The fine graphics add an additional pinch of dynamism. The sporty cut should also ensure low wind noise.

Extensive equipment

The chin piece can be folded up without having to take off the helmet. Thanks to the flap and the built-in eyeglass channel in the cheek pads, putting on and taking off the visual aid is also easy for people who wear glasses. The latter, like the entire inner lining, can be removed and washed. Additional features include an integrated sun visor, ventilation on the forehead and chin, a clear, scratch-resistant quick-change visor including Pinlock lens as well as breath and wind deflectors. The Swiss use a micro ratchet fastener for the chinstrap.

The helmet, which is tested according to Euro 22.05, is available in two helmet shell sizes in sizes from XS to XXL. When it comes to decor, customers can choose between the colors neon yellow-black or matt black-gray. With a price of 249.95 euros, the IXS 460 FG 2.0 is one of the cheaper flip-up helmets on the market.
