Improved smartphone integration
For better smartphone integration, Honda is now integrating Android Auto into the on-board system of the Honda CRF 1100 L Africa Twin.

Owners of a Honda Africa Twin or Africa Twin can use the new functions “Adventure Sports” Have a software update installed by your dealer.
Owners of a smartphone with an Android operating system can more easily access the contents of their mobile phone via the coupling via Android Auto. This enables, for example, the problem-free use of voice commands, navigation via Google Maps or the use of music, media and messaging apps.

With a clear user interface and voice control, Android Auto is designed to minimize driver distraction. If you want to try the upgrade yourself, you will find at Honda the appropriate software and instructions.
The Android Auto connectivity solution is already in use at Honda for the GL1800 Gold Wing, with further models to follow. Until then, many other Honda models such as the CB 1000 R or the scooter models Forza 750, X-ADV and, optionally, the Forza 350 using the Honda Road Sync app can be coupled with the smartphone.
