BoxerCup 2.0 comes in 2018
The official new edition of the popular racing series starts in the 2018 season with the BMW Motorrad BoxerCup 2.0. It will be held as part of the IDM.

Up to 30 teams can compete against each other on identical BMW R nineT Racers that have been modified for use on the racetrack. The requirements are the same for all participants thanks to the uniform motorcycles. Driving skills, courage and a bit of luck alone decide between victory and defeat.
Who can take part? First: passionate drivers over the age of 18 who have at least a national B license. Second: One of the maximum 30 BMW R nineT Racer motorcycles in the special BoxerCup version must be purchased. It is possible to team up with up to four drivers for one vehicle. More information on enrollment and other formalities will be available in August.
The basic model for the racing machines in the BoxerCup 2.0 is the BMW R nineT Racer with a displacement of 1,170 cm3 and an output of 81 kW (110 hp). The special version “BoxerCup” has accessories such as fork conversion and shock absorbers from Wilbers, engine spoiler and rear end from Ilmberger, the Akrapovič sports silencer and Brembo brake pads.
