the V7 With its air-cooled two-valve small block, it is the most classic of all Guzzis today – and the smallest. Nevertheless, or maybe because of it, it is very popular and is the bestseller among the Twins from Mandello. The technicians there have now thoroughly renovated their entry-level model and presented the successor, the V7 II (pronounced Due), at INTERMOT.

At first glance, there are hardly any differences to the predecessor, which was already offered in the three variants “Stone”, “Special” and “Racer”. On the second, connoisseurs should notice the four degrees forward inclined and ten millimeters lower installation position of the engine. It should put more weight on the front wheel, increase the driver’s knee room and lower the seat height by ten millimeters. The footrests are even placed 25 mm lower.

The new V7 II should be available from November

The gearbox of the new one now has six instead of five gears and is naturally more closely spaced. The first and the last two gears have become shorter, Guzzi promises significant improvements in acceleration and torque. A new, separate oil pump should guarantee optimal lubrication. The clutch lever and its bracket have been improved for more efficient operation. All three variants now have ABS and traction control (!) As standard. The top model, the V7 II Racer, catches the eye with its chrome-plated 21-liter tank, which is decorated with a classic leather strap along the top. The new V7 II should be available from November.
