After the V7 models equips Moto Guzzi also the V9 with the V2 engine from the Enduro V85 TT. In terms of displacement, the V9 does not make any gains, but performance is improving. The 853 cm³ V-Twin will then also bring the 65 HP and 73 Nm torque to the start in the V9, which also drive the refreshed Moto Guzzi V7. And of course the new engine also lifts the V9 over the Euro 5 hurdle.

Reinforced frame, new colors

Like the V7, the V9 also has a reinforced frame around the steering head area. The Guzzi V9 Bobber has a new seat, newly shaped side panels and a new, short front fender. The digital instrumentation and the LED lighting system with LED daytime running lights are also new on the V9 Bobber. The rubberized footrests are intended to increase the vibration comfort.

The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer is available in the Grigio Lunare color scheme, the Bobber is available in the Nero Essenziale color. Both models will be available from February 2021. The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, including VAT and ancillary costs, costs from 10,190 euros, the Bobber is available from 10,750 euros.

Conclusion

Moto Guzzi uses the V85 engine as the new basic power unit for many models. However, it can only achieve its full performance in the enduro.
