Especially friends of extensive alpine tours, who travel through many climatic zones in a short time, are always properly dressed. With the other “very good” sets, you are well dressed, especially in the classic season from Easter to October. They are real bringer even in midsummer – especially if they provide a little cooling during hot cornering. The sets of Craft and Fuse also attract with an attractive price-performance ratio – our buying tips in this test. The big flaw that cost many “good” suits points: the overly drafty finish on the neck.

If, in the cold half of the season, horse power and outside temperatures no longer bring us to the necessary operating temperature, other test methods must be selected. In this case the bike was saddled – anyway a fitness tip for bikers during the winter break. On a tricky mountain bike tour, the functional underwear was put to the test in terms of performance: Are the sets adequately insulated with windstopper or fleece fabric? How does the indoor climate feel when you work up a sweat? Do the undergarments, which are more designed for summer time, fan a pleasant fresh breeze for the wearer? Always a topic when biking: the good finish on the neck.
The bottom line was that there was a maximum of 25 points to be won in the functionality category. Fit: Fitting in different sizes. Are the arm and leg lengths correct, is the waistband tight, does the fabric fold unnecessarily? Another 25 points are on the award list. Wearing comfort: How smoothly can the laundry be worn on the skin, where does the fabric rub, cut elastic bands, squeeze seams? A maximum of 25 points could be obtained in this test chapter, another 25 followed, even if the workmanship was convincing.
