In the Evo version, the communication specialist has fine-tuned the Bluetooth set 20S for universally fitting helmet installation. MOTORRAD installed and tried the system.

Noticeable on Sena 20S Evo is above all the redesigned housing with a rigid shark antenna that adapts flush to many shell shapes. The multi-communication device scores points above all with its impressively simple handling. You don’t have to be a nerd to the power of three to pair the Sena 20S with other partner devices, a navigation system or a smartphone. A shake is enough to establish the connection in many cases.
Easy to use, great sound
Even if we limited ourselves to bike-to-bike communication during the tour test: up to eight Sena devices could communicate with each other in group chat. The control via the large, easily accessible rotary knob works just as reliably as the “contactless” Voice command. Thanks to good filtering and great acoustics, two-way communication and telephoning, but also listening to music in HD stereo, is a real pleasure. It’s just a shame that the battery dies after just under six hours on long tours.
The Sena 20S Evo is available in the solo version at a price of 269 euros, the partner set costs 489 euros.
