Representative of the (very) fast road in the BMW range, the K 1300 S is a very good illustration of the now dying Sport-GT race. The alliance of comfort and sport, powered by a good big 175 horsepower 4-cylinder engine. To offer even more sportiness, here is the HP limited series, equipped with many features highlighting the potential of the beast.

The K 1300 S HP is adorned in a sporty and elegant white-blue-black colourway, but it is above all by the addition of components that the machine justifies its name. There are a host of parts that we would see much more on an S 1000 RR than on a K series: it is equipped with adjustable rear controls and passenger footrests in cut aluminum, a shifter, an Akrapovic silencer mixing carbon and titanium.
There is also carbon on board: the front fender, airbox cover, clutch housing protection and passenger seat cowl are made with this fiber. Another hint of style with a tinted windshield, a touch of mechanical ease with a rear stand stand, enhanced driving comfort with an on-board computer and heated grips, and electronic assistance with pressure control RDC tires, ASC traction control, and ESA II controlled suspension.

This is fine and good, but not cheap. The invoice exceeds 20,000 euros. In order to further enhance this special series, BMW will only produce 750 numbered units..
