Undoubtedly scalded by the arrival of the Goldwing 1 800, BM dust off its great traveler. Always with calm and pleasure, because the K 1200 LT is one of the most incredible vessels in motorcycle production. Little change in the very classy and majestic line of the BM; the front mudguard is modified, the chrome pack is now standard, and the characteristic BM signature (the double bean on the front face that is also found on sedans) disappears in favor of an additional headlight. Say goodbye to the counters stuck to the brand’s cars – a brand new, ultra-complete dashboard is housed in front of the pilot. New aesthetic and addition of a multifunction digital dial (not very far from the i-drive system of series 5 and 7).

Only the best, but the biggest part of the job is the invisible one. The engine benefited from some modifications and saw its power increase to 116 hp. A hint of additional torque, a revised box, increased hunting and a new shock absorber:BMW K 1200 LT the K is ready for long adventures with even more serenity and comfort. Even the saddle has been revised to improve well-being on board. In Munich, we like to innovate. And for the big baby with the consequent weight, a new electro-hydraulic central crutch system which will greatly facilitate the maneuver. Compared to its great rival, the Honda 1800 Goldwing, the BM does not offer the same smoothness in terms of engine. Lacking a little torque, the 4-legged is not as attractive as the Japanese 6-cylinder. It makes up for it with superior comfort and a more attractive price (although substantial). The LT takes 9 kgs for 2004 and the list of options has grown even longer. There is everything you need to find yourself riding a road 747.
