BMW R 1150 GS ADVENTURE 2004

Menus

You like the R 1150 GS but you hesitate – not enough adventurer … Never mind. BM thought about those nostalgic for the Dakar Replica versions of its trails and concocted this Adventure for us. What about this motorcycle ?
Basically, a GS which has seen its suspension mounted, loses the height adjustment of the saddle, shortens its gearbox (1st gear even shorter as an option), is equipped with an engine management allowing to put lower octane fuels, and a host of options for venturing to Vladivostok.

It can thus be fitted with a 30 L tank, very adventurous aluminum cases and top-case, a GPS, sturdy cylinder guards, etc … The spoked rims accommodate tires with a mixed profile . If they allow you to “cruiser” the paths, you should not ask too much of them on asphalt roads. If you only face asphalt, choose another pneumatic mount and enjoy the superb comfort of the GS. The engine is available, flexible, and the machine holds the road well. Be careful of the weight all the same. Consequently, he does not invite the motorcycle to go into town. And for the amateurs of “crossroads”, act with prudence and precaution – a trail of 300 kgs, that does not handle and especially does not catch up like a mono trail.
