Chaired for two years by Gerald Bihr, son of the founder of the eponymous company Cyrille Bihr in 1975 (read), the distributor of spare parts and motorcycle accessories Bihr (owned by Moteo, motorized two-wheeler division of the Belgian group Alcopa) welcomes a new president in the person of Alex Gelbcke.
Alex Gelbcke, 49, spent 17 years with the American supplier Tenneco (Monroe shocks) as aftermarket manager for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. "His solid experience in spare parts as well as in the management of international units will be a great asset for the development of Bihr SAS in France, Benelux and Switzerland", says the group..
For his part, Gerald Bihr will join the group’s headquarters in Kontich (Belgium) from June 1, 2016. As Director of Europe, information systems, logistics and supply chain, his role will be in particular to "deploy in other branches of the group, the recognized expertise of Bihr SAS in these three disciplines to strengthen and accelerate their growth ".
The management committee of Bihr SAS (France, Benelux and Switzerland) is therefore now composed of the following members:
