The Chinese 650 cc of CF Moto: not for now…
After having copied Kawasaki’s ER-6n, CF Moto was largely inspired by the Honda Pan European to dress its 650 NK roadster. The two motorcycles, available in Poland in particular, are not available in France … Explanations.
After having copied Kawasaki’s ER-6n, CF Moto was largely inspired by the Honda Pan European to dress its 650 NK roadster. The two motorcycles, available in Poland in particular, are not available in France … Explanations.
GD France imports quads and SSVs (Side by Side Vehicles) manufactured by the Chinese brand CF Moto into France. "As a leading company in the production of liquid cooled engines, motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles in its domestic market, CF Moto has an annual production capacity of 300,000 engines and 200,000 vehicles, giving it a international dimension ", guarantees the importer on the official website of the brand.
On the other hand, no trace of motorcycles on this same French site … "It is a deliberate choice", explains to Site Antoine Valla, marketing and communication manager of GD France: "today we are concentrating our resources on the quad because we have extensive experience and network in this area ".
Unlike the Americans or, closer to us, the Poles, French bikers therefore cannot buy the 650 NK roadster – an ER-6n with the look of KTM -, nor the 650 TR road version which looks very much like a Pan European.
"Discussions remain open with the manufacturer", confides our interlocutor, "but the marketing of these motorcycles in the short or medium term is not planned". For information only, therefore, the 650 NK is changed in Poland 16,999 zlotys (4200 €) while the 650 TR costs 3000 zlotys more (i.e. 4950 €).
Their prices would undoubtedly be revised upwards when crossing our border, but would remain competitive against the basic models currently offered by the Japanese … and which are selling rather well with us, NC700X and NC700S in the lead! Business to follow on Site of course: stay connected !
