Would you like a supermotard with 100 canassons, a furious style, Ohlins, and all badged Ducati? So, it is up to you to promote the birth of this surprising prototype of the Bolognese plant. Its name is as simple as it is precise: Hypermotard. A machine that could get you hooked in less than 3 laps of the track. Very compact, very thin, cut for winding and sliding, the beast feels the attack full nose.
That’s good, that’s exactly what we’re looking for in Supermot ‘. But with the Ducati, we have one more cylinder than usual. The twin 1000 DS is seriously revised to develop 15 more hp. Thus, with 100 donkeys and 175 kg dry, the hypermotard will allow you to make figures of speech, controlled slips and bleeding arsouille in the tortured collars of France. A good Husqvarna or a solid KTM will certainly follow you but not sure that they manage to hang on a good straight line. The motorbike can go there at 220 km / h.
Dressed to the minimum, the Ducati is satisfied with an astonishing plate-headlight-fender and aggressive shoulders protecting the tank. The essential is trapped in the traditional trellis frame: the big twin, the Ohlins rear shock absorber, the single-sided swingarm of the latest Monsters, the Marzocchi inverted fork and braking provided by a single large disc of 320 mm in diameter. This is more than enough to calm a light and typical machine like this one. There is still a Brembo clamp with radial fixing. Beautiful Marchesini rims take care of holding the sport tires and accompanying the machine in a straight line, curved, in wheelies … But stop thinking about playing around! This proto must first be marketed. And for that, Ducati awaits your reactions.
