Enduro reaches production anniversary

Ducati celebrates the 100,000th Multistrada built. The anniversary model, a 1260 Pikes Peak, has now been handed over to its buyer.

Has been for 16 years D.ucati a Multistrada in the model range. In mid-September 2019, the Italians will celebrate the production of the 100,000th model. The Multistrada with the number 100,000, a 1260 Pikes Peak with individual laser inscription on the upper triple clamp, was handed over personally to Dave Hayward – a German customer who had ordered this motorcycle from the Dusseldorf dealer – by Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali in Bologna.

Today’s Multistrada family is very broad with seven versions: two 950 cm³ (113 hp) variants and five models with 1260 cm³ (158 hp) are available. Another variant will be added to the Multistrada in 2021. Then comes the Multistrada with the V4 engine, which was derived from the new Panigale V4.
