Scorpion presented an almost finalized version of the EXO 2000 Air, its first "100% Racing" full face helmet, during the 2012 Professional Motorcycle and Scooter Days this weekend in Lyon (read our).

As announced last year (read our), the EXO 2000 Air is positioned in a much sportier niche than the EXO 1000 Air, the current spearhead of the Korean manufacturer’s full face helmets..

Both more aerodynamic and lighter (1200 g in size M), the new Scorpion EXO 2000 Air full-face helmet has a "Thermodynamical Composit Technology" (TCT) tri-composite fiber shell and an advanced ventilation system that allows you to concentrate air flow on the visor or face.

Its flat screen – designed to receive tears off – features a simpler and faster assembly / disassembly system, while the device allowing the visor to "press" against the shell in order to improve sound insulation and thermal is reinforced.

Equipped with a titanium chin strap closure buckle, the Exo 2000 Air is also equipped with the Scorpion Air Fit Concept, the very practical internal lining inflation system dear to the brand..

"This is a real racing helmet made for racing, still in prototype state, which should be marketed at a price of € 399 in uni and € 450 in decorated version from September 2012", specifies at Site Jean Michel Pfrimmer.
