Honda CB 500 F model year 2021

A2-Naked Bike fit for Euro 5

The Honda CB 500 F is one of the most popular motorcycles in the A2-compatible 48 hp class. It will get a few updates for the 2021 model year.

The popular Honda came in mid-2020 VS.B 500 F to 729 new registrations, which put it in 27th place in the registration statistics. Not bad. For comparison: The CBR 500 R was in 50th place with 392 new registrations, the CB 500 X in 67th place with 331 units. Only the brand sister CMX 500 Rebel prevailed against the CB 500 F in the competition of the 500 series, which usually won romps in the top 10 – in the first half of 2020 with 1,129 copies in 9th place.

For beginners, climbers and those switching

The Honda CB 500 F is particularly popular in the age group up to 24 years and with drivers between 45 and 54 years of age. We suspect that some are newcomers and candidates for promotion from the 125 class and the others are beginners or those switching to the A2 class. And the A2-compatible 48 hp of the CB 500 F will remain in the 2021 model year: At 8,600 rpm, maximum power is available, while 43 Newton meters of maximum torque is available at 6,500 rpm.

The Honda CB 500 F puts together a well-rounded package in the 2021 model year: the 471 cm³ two-cylinder pushes, the 6-speed gearbox slips and the ergonomics will please both young and old pilots. Since the comprehensive 2019 update, the colorful LC display has been informing the driver of which gear he has engaged and uses the configurable shift indicator to signal when it is time for the next gear.
