The CRF 450 R is a must for riders looking for the best machine to lead them to victory. Powered by a 4-stroke engine with the Unicam distribution system that delivers all its power at the slightest rotation of the throttle, the CRF 450 R still benefits from an aluminum frame and suspensions derived from those of the official machines, a package to which is now added the new progressive steering damper system HPSD.
PERFORMANCE
The CRF 450 is powered by a 4-stroke 4-valve Unicam engine delivering 56 hp at 8,500 rpm and torque of 5.15 mkg at 7,000 rpm. Since 2009, it has benefited from a new injection fuel system with automatic adjustment which guarantees identical character and performance whatever the altitude..
TECHNOLOGY
Available as an option, the programming kit long developed by the HRC is very easy to use thanks to precise data which allows the machine to be optimized in all situations. The ignition timing and injection timing can be changed by connecting the machine to a computer and simply following the instructions provided. The system radically simplifies the tuning procedures and allows as many people as possible to personalize their settings. The machine is connected using a single connector and without the need to remove the fuel tank.
SECURITY
Lightweight and compact Honda HPSD progressive steering damper system developed by Honda to improve cornering efficiency and reduce rider fatigue. The HPSD progressive steering damper system consists of a compact damper placed between the steering column and the lower triple tree to limit excessive steering movements and facilitate straight-line riding.

– New, narrower intake duct to optimize low and mid-range power, torque feel and throttle control.
– Colors and new graphics inspired by official machines.
– Honda Progressive Steering Damper with larger piston to increase steering precision and stability with increased damping at low speeds.
– New fuel pump assembly with interchangeable filter for easy maintenance and increased longevity.
– Battery-less injection power system with new injector for greater efficiency at low and mid-range speeds, more progressive power and reduced consumption.
– Revised rear suspension with new settings for improved operation and better overall balance.
