Indian 1811 CHIEFTAIN Elite 2017


The Chieftain has decided to increase its level of elegance. Imposing and majestic bagger, a choice alternative to the indestructible Harley Street Glide, this Indian does not leave you indifferent. And this special Elite series puts her in the premium clan +.

It is essential from the outset. Besides its stature faithful to America, the Chieftain Elite impresses with the important paint job carried out. A desire to make the motorcycle unique, because all the stages are done by hand – 25 hours of work just for the decoration. A strong impression of quality emerges from the whole, while leaving the care to showcase the enormous twin Thunderstroke. The style and the mechanics explode in the eyes, complementary and detached at the same time. The fans will appreciate without restraint, and will judge with sympathy or scandal the impertinence of the nose gear.
As on the other special series, the Limited, this Chieftain abandons its typical front fender covering as much of the wheel as possible. A classic cap comes here to cap the wheel, whose diameter goes to 19 inches instead of 16.

The Elite is also distinguished by a series of special parts such as aluminum steps, full LED lighting, saddle with stitching; and to fully enjoy the entertainment offered by the Ride Command, the sound system is here pushed to 200 watts.

Once started, it’s the turn of the big American twin to set the pace. The crew will let themselves be carried away with force and nostalgia via this 1811 cm3 block, pulsing in rhythm with its 13.7 mkg of torque. In-car multimedia system with Bluetooth, cruise control, electric windshield, keyless start, remote lockable saddlebags, tire pressure warning light and more. For a price that swells by almost 5,000 euros compared to the standard Chieftain.
In order to establish the exclusive side, only 350 copies of the Elite will be manufactured. And barely 5 are planned for France – clarification: only current owners of an Indian will be able to order the Chieftain Elite.
