With its “winning” pedigree, the KX 250 F proves to be a formidable weapon when it is in the hands of good riders as well as those of champions. In racing in the USA, the current KX 250 F has already demonstrated it on numerous occasions, winning the 2011 crown in the AMA SX Lites West Championship and taking the first three places in the final standings of the AMA MX Lites Championship.. In MXGP, the KX 250 F took Kawasaki second in the manufacturers ‘standings and third in the drivers’ standings.

In 2012, the objectives were even higher after several victories obtained in the MX2 class..

Kawasaki has taken the best of technology validated by multiple victories on the track and directly benefits the new KX 25 0F. For 2013 – to name just a few of the most significant developments – the KX 250 F is equipped with a brand new 2nd generation separate function fork (SFF), and benefits from an even more efficient engine as well as an adjustable injection map fitted to the motorcycle as standard !
A machine born to win, but accessible to all !

Main characteristics :

High-tech suspension : Separate function fork (SFF) type 2
– increased rigidity improves feedback from the front axle
– larger damping elements enhance damping performance and improve machine control.
The type 2 design (inverted compensator joint cylindrical rod) allows more progressive operation, providing greater resistance at the end of stroke without compromising ride quality.
New internal construction is identical to that found on the factory machines of the Team Monster Energy Pro Circuit champions !

Easy engine tuning: Choice of DFI injection adjustment data

The instant couplings of the DFI system allow the pilot to have access to 3 different engine modes depending on the driving conditions: Normal, easy or difficult. Each of the maps can be reprogrammed using the KX FI tuning set.

Double injectors

Ensures the best engine performance over the entire range, especially at high revs.

More direct admission for more horses at the top of the towers.

The intake angle at the cylinder is more accentuated allowing the gas mixture to flow more directly into the combustion chamber. Combined with the higher compression ratio and other engine upgrades, this allows for even more horsepower at the top of the revs..

Refined ergonomics

The new narrower frame (4 mm), the fluid line of the saddle-tank assembly, and the particularly homogeneous integration of the cover and the frame facilitate the movements of the rider on the motorcycle.

Petal disc brakes

Front and rear petal-shaped disc brakes are combined with a new front brake master cylinder and new pad linings which further enhance the braking potential and control of the bike.

New “Factory” style

Factory-inspired graphics, black alumite * rims, the same color rear fender and fork guards, blue alumite * finish of the suspension settings, and blue color finish touches applied to certain parts of the engine, all this contributes to give the KX250F a unique look that perfectly matches its very high level of performance..

* Alumite : finishing treatment of aluminum by anodic oxidation to obtain a colored protective film resistant to scratches and corrosion.
